Donna Turner served in the healthcare industry as a mother/baby registered nurse. After 30+ years of service Donna was forced to leave her beloved job due to a hand injury. Donna found herself in transition and not knowing what her “next” would look like. She became one of Liminal Space’s first clients. Through her work with Liminal Space Donna was able to identify her unique gifts and how her past nursing experience had prepared her for the new chapter of her life. Donna now has a Lay Leader Counseling Certificate from The Allender Center. Donna is co-founder of FRIENDS OF BERTRAND HAITI, a non-profit organization that partners with and supports a small community in Southwest Haiti. Donna has also led several Journey Groups through the Open Hearts Ministry, walking alongside others who have stories of pain and abuse. Donna is mother of 3 and is the proud grandmother of 6. She brings a wealth of knowledge as well as an extravagant level of care to the Liminal Space Board of Trustees.
